Installation Technician - CNC Machinery (Traveling/Remote)
Park Industries is seeking to add an Installation Technician to our team!
As an Installation Technician for Park Industries, you are the front line of our Customer Experience – providing an excellent customer experience throughout the installation process and setting the customer up for years of success.
Our Installation Technicians install Park Industries machinery based on prints and written instructions, in accordance with specified installation procedures and tolerances. In addition, Installation Technicians will be responsible for preforming some service and maintenance on Park Industries machines.
In this role, you will travel to Customer locations throughout the United States and Canada.
What can you expect to do in this role?
- Install Park Industries equipment at customer locations – including the inspection and verification of the machine foundations and other quality measures.
- Ensure that machines are completely operable and built to expectation.
- Train equipment operator(s) at the customer’s site - Explaining and demonstrating all features of machine and how the machine operates to the customer/operator(s), observing the newly trained staff operating the equipment and coaching as necessary.
- Perform service work on Park machines at customer locations.
- Complete all installation, warranty, and service parts documentation, as needed.
- Communicate and interact with customers and their staff in a friendly, supportive, and professional manner.
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned.
What makes you a good fit?
Here is what we are looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience and/or expertise in manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, & Outlook)
- Knowledge and experience with JD Edwards
- CAD experience
- Proximity to a major airport
- The ability to travel regularly
Our ideal candidate would have experience with:
- Operating, programming and/or maintaining Park Industries machines
- Experience working in the stoneworking industry
- CNC machining experience
