Letter from the Executive Director
Exciting news to sharing from the Association office!
 
Midwest Manufacturers Association (MMA), the central office that serves AMFA, CMMA and TSMA, is in a state of transition. I’ve decided to shift gears professionally with a move to part time employment in the not-too-distant future. After nearly 30 years in my current role, I’ll be stepping away from the Executive Director position.  
 
The MMA Board of Directors is to be commended for taking the time to understand the challenges and proactively explore opportunities that accompany a time of significant change. An eight-member MMA Task Force is currently knee-deep in weekly discussions related to staffing strategy, changing demographics, resistance to change, budgets, competition, collaboration, and more. There’s a lot going on behind the scenes!
 
While we don’t yet have all the answers, we do feel the time is right to bring the membership into the conversation. As a CMMA member, you understand our mission to enhance the success of manufacturers. You’re familiar with the many services we provide. Perhaps most importantly, you are connected to people who have a passion for manufacturing!  
 
Please spread the word to those people; MMA is hiring!  We’d welcome inquiry from those interested in a leadership position or a support position, full time or part time, office based (in Elbow Lake) or telecommute.
