Darter Plastics named 2020 Manufacturer of the Year
Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association (CMMA) has named Darter Plastics as the 2020 CMMA Manufacturer of the Year. CMMA President Les Engel recently presented Darter Plastics with this well-earned award to celebrate not only the company’s commitment to CMMA, but the betterment of manufacturing overall.
Darter Plastics of Becker is a 10-year member of CMMA. This outstanding company has added value to CMMA and the manufacturing community in several ways:- Annual corporate sponsorship of CMMA golf tournament
- Actively attends and participates in CMMA meetings and events
- Significant investors in and supporters of Becker school district Robotics programs.
New in 2021, CMMA will make a $500 donation to the award winner’s charity of choice. Hammerback has chosen Great River Faith in Action of Becker. GRFiA supports the needs of the elderly and families/individuals in need throughout Sherburne County and parts of Wright County. They help elderly live independently in their homes for as long as it is safe and reasonable for them to do so. Volunteers clean their homes, provide rides to appointments and errands and make friendly visits. They also collect and deliver new and gently used furniture and deliver it to families in need.
