CMMA election results - 2021 officers named

Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association 2021 Board of Director election results were confirmed in December. Nine candidates were listed on the electronic ballot issued in November, with seven seats available. 
 
Re-elected to the board were incumbents Lance Barthel (Batteries Plus Bulbs), Angie Brick (Rotochopper, Inc.), Les Engel (Engel Metallurgical), Bruce Hagberg (riteSOFT); Kurt Helgeson (SCSU), Dean Kiffmeyer (Central McGowan), and Patrick Walsh (Brooten-Belgrade-Elrosa School). Subsequent to the election, Della Ludwig, MN DEED, was appointed to a two-year term on the board.
 
Additional members of the CMMA board of directors are Jason Iverson (Falcon National Bank), Steve Leen (BerganKDV), Lance Louis (Louis Industries), Randy Pelletier (Pellco Machine), Jared Powell (Woodcraft Industries), Bonnie Supan (Brenny Transportation), and Tim Zipoy (Central MN Jobs & Training Services).

Engel Named CMMA President
 
At the December board meeting, Les Engel was elected to a fourteenth term as president of Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association for calendar year 2021. Engel has provided leadership for the organization since its inception in 2008. Based in Sauk Rapids, MN, Engel Metallurgical is a materials engineering consulting and testing company specializing in material selection, application and evaluation; product failure analysis; and legal investigation/expert witness. 
 
Lance Louis, President/CEO of Louis Industries, was elected to a third term as Vice President. Tim Zipoy with Central MN Jobs and Training was named CMMA’s Secretary and Steve Leen with BerganKDV was named Treasurer.
