Fox Valley Spring was established in 1989 as a customer-oriented company providing custom springs located near Appleton, WI.  In 2011, our facility was expanded from 25,000 sq. ft. to 53,000 sq. ft. with 7,000 sq. ft. dedicated to office space.  The balance of the facility is divided between manufacturing and distribution. This addition allowed us to house more equipment for an expanded product line and new opportunities. It also made shipping and receiving operations more efficient while positioning us for future employee growth.

In 2015, Fox Valley Spring Company was sold to a team of people with extensive experience in manufacturing and business. We remain “family owned” and pride ourselves on our tenure, most of the staff at Fox Valley Spring remains the same.  It’s through this dedication that we can continue to deliver the unparalleled custom service and quality our customers have come to expect. We were also pleased to announce that we had received our ISO 9001: 2015 certification. We knew that this validation of our Quality Management System would result in continued outstanding service to our customers.

In 2018, we went from 53,000 square feet to 77,300 square feet and increased our team to 73 employees.  Currently Fox Valley Spring Company utilizes state-of-the-art CNC automated spring coilers, allowing us to manufacture complex precision springs in a single operation.  Along with ISO certified we are also ITAR registered.  We are committed to continually investing in the latest technologies to ensure we meet our customers’ needs and expectations.  Whether you are looking for a Compression Spring, Extension Spring, Torsion Spring, Wire Form, Die Spring, Flat Steel or an exotic custom-made spring, Fox Valley Spring is your best choice.

Our compression spring capabilities range from approximately 0.006” to approximately 0.625” wire diameter.  Compression springs are open coiled helical springs that resist a compressive force applied axially. The shape may be cylindrical, conical, tapered, convex (hourglass), concave (barrel) or a combination of these.  The changing of the springs ends, direction of the helix, material and finish allows a compression springs to meet a variety of specially designed spring needs. Our extension spring capabilities range from 0.010" to 0.375" wire diameter.  Helical extension springs store energy and exerts a pulling force. Usually, they are made from round wire and are close wound with initial tension. Helical Springs used to apply a torque or store rotational energy are commonly referred to as torsion springs. The two most common types are single and double-bodied springs.  Torsion springs are generally mounted around a shaft or arbor and must be supported at three or more points. Various kinds of ends are available to facilitate mounting.

Industries utilize a variety of custom wire and metal forms in their products. These individual component designs can vary in material, width, thickness, strength, form, and function.  Since standard wire and metal forms do not exist, our experienced craftsmen are able to meet individual application challenges by utilizing their professional experience, flexible tooling, and production capabilities.  Your custom wire and metal form component can be readily designed and manufactured upon customer request.
